Team 148
Greenville, Texas

1999
Sponsored by Raytheon E-Systems and Greenville ISD, Team 148 participated in the 1999 FIRST Robotics Competition.

In the 1999 game, "Double Trouble," two alliances composed of two teams each compete in each match.  The object of the game is to collect and transport "floppies" to a designated height off of the ground and position their robots on the "puck."

Team 148's robot, "Rough Rider," could lift the floppy disks eight feet in the air.  "Rough Rider" brought the team to a fifth place finish at the regional competition in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
